Individual Therapy
Specializations
Healing Trauma
Trauma lives in both the mind and body, shaping how we experience ourselves, others, and the world. My approach to trauma healing incorporates mindfulness, somatic therapy, and inner child work to gently reconnect with and integrate the parts of yourself that have been wounded. Whether you’re working through sexual trauma, relational trauma, attachment wounds, or the lingering imprints of past experiences, our work together will center on creating safety, restoring agency, and helping you reclaim your sense of wholeness.
Identity & Belonging
For those navigating multiracial, multicultural, first-generation, or AAPI experiences, questions of identity and belonging can feel complex and ever-evolving. Together, we will explore the intersections of culture, race, family dynamics, and personal values while honoring the layers of your lived experience. Our work may include unpacking internalized narratives, navigating intergenerational tensions, and strengthening a sense of self that feels authentic and empowered.
Relationship Challenges
The way we relate to others is deeply shaped by our earliest experiences, attachment styles, and unspoken family dynamics. In therapy, we will explore patterns in relationships—whether romantic, familial, or social—that may be causing pain or disconnection. Our work may involve unpacking relational wounds, understanding your attachment style, developing healthier boundaries, and cultivating deeper, more fulfilling connections with others.
Spirituality & Meditation
Therapy can be a space to deepen your connection to yourself, the world, and something greater. Whether you identify with a specific spiritual tradition, are exploring new practices, or simply seek a sense of meaning, I offer an integrative approach that weaves in mindfulness, Buddhist psychology, and somatic awareness. We will explore tools for cultivating inner refuge, finding stillness amidst life’s chaos, and developing a relationship with spirituality that feels nourishing and aligned.

By exploring how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns shape your present, psychodynamic therapy helps bring deeper self-awareness and clarity to your emotions and behaviors. Together, we’ll examine recurring themes in your life, helping you recognize old wounds, unhelpful patterns, and underlying beliefs that may be holding you back. This process fosters meaningful self-discovery and creates opportunities for lasting change.

Life is full of uncertainty, pain, and challenges, but ACT teaches us that we don’t have to be ruled by our suffering. This approach helps you identify what truly matters to you and take meaningful action in alignment with your values, even when difficult thoughts and emotions arise. By fostering psychological flexibility, ACT supports you in responding to life’s challenges with greater acceptance, self-compassion, and a deeper sense of purpose.

Our nervous system is constantly responding to the world around us, shaping how we experience safety, connection, and threat. Polyvagal-informed therapy helps you understand and work with your nervous system, learning tools to regulate overwhelming emotions, shift out of survival states, and cultivate a sense of safety within yourself and in relationships.
Our bodies hold the imprints of our experiences, including stress, trauma, and emotional pain. Somatic therapy helps you reconnect with your body’s wisdom, using breath, movement, and body awareness to process and release what has been stored. A somatic approach focuses on cultivating a greater sense of safety and presence in your body.

Rooted in Buddhist teachings and supported by modern research, mindfulness helps cultivate presence, self-compassion, and a deeper understanding of the mind. Studies show that regular mindfulness practice can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression while improving emotional regulation, focus, and overall well-being.
Through mindfulness practices, we learn to meet our emotions with gentleness, develop a compassionate relationship with ourselves, and “learn the art of suffering”.
Through this practice, we learn how to take refuge within—finding steadiness in our breath, safety in our bodies, and a sense of home within ourselves. This approach empowers you to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease, fostering inner peace and wholeness in your daily life.

At the heart of healing work is the gathering of courage
to learn how to turn toward this moment,
to learn how to hold ourselves and our experience with gentleness.
